Day 01 : Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your adventure begins with a pickup by the Rwanda Safaris driver-guide, who will provide a briefing about the trip. The start time depends on your flight arrival. You will explore Kigali, visiting landmarks such as the National Museum to learn about Rwanda’s history and culture. Next, you will stroll through local markets, perfect for buying essentials and souvenirs. After enjoying an en-route lunch, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park for an exhilarating experience.

Day 02 : Gorilla Trekking
Rise early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing on gorilla trekking rules. You will venture into the dense rainforest to track the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can take 3-4 hours, but the reward is immense. Upon encountering the gorillas, you will spend one hour observing and capturing memorable photos and videos. After this life-changing experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch before heading back to Kigali. It is advisable to book a late-night flight if you plan to depart on the same day. Witnessing gorillas up close will undoubtedly create lasting memories.
