Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival, a company guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Entebbe or Kampala with a city walk. Otherwise, relax at your lodge and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 02 : Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 03 : Gorilla Trekking Adventure
Begin with a warm cup of coffee before heading to the park for gorilla trekking. Follow expert guides through Bwindi’s dense forest to locate the mountain gorillas. Trekking can last 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Encountering these gentle giants is a breathtaking experience as you watch them play, feed, and interact. Afterward, return to your lodge and unwind.
Day 04 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector. This route offers a chance to spot the famous tree-climbing lions. On reaching the park, go on an evening game drive to view wildlife like elephants, buffalos, lions, antelopes, and various birds. Check into your lodge and enjoy the evening.
Day 05 : Chimpanzee Trekking and Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start the day with breakfast and proceed to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Spend 2 to 3 hours observing the chimps in their natural habitat. Alongside chimpanzees, you may see monkeys, baboons, and colorful birds. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Spot crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, and many bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 06 : Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge before starting the return journey to Kampala. Along the way, admire the scenery and stop for souvenirs if time allows. Reach Kampala in time to transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight.
