This 5 Days Chimps & Gorilla Tracking in Uganda Adventure offers an exciting opportunity to explore Uganda’s wildlife, from chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park to gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also provides a chance to immerse yourself in the culture of the indigenous Batwa people. During the trip, you’ll have guided experiences, beautiful landscapes, and the chance to interact with local wildlife. On arrival in Uganda, you will transfer to Kibale National Park. Enjoy an en-route lunch along the way. Upon reaching Kabarole, check in at your accommodation. Refresh, relax, and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night. If needed, accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala can be arranged at an extra cost, depending on your arrival time.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will stop for lunch. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your accommodation and relax. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in a tranquil environment.
On the fourth day, have an early breakfast and head to the UWA headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking. Afterward, go on a thrilling trek to encounter the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. During the tracking, learn about their behavior and way of life in the dense forest. Afterward, return to the lodge for refreshments and relaxation.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in a cultural experience with the Batwa people, the indigenous forest dwellers. You will learn about their traditional hunting methods, craft making, and enjoy music, dance, and drama performances.
End the day by returning to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation. You can also enjoy a night fire experience before bed.
On the final day, have a morning breakfast and check out of your accommodation. The driver will transfer you back to Kampala, where you will arrive by 4 PM East African time. From here, you can catch your departure flight back home.
